Getting the Most from Remote
The potential for remote work is great, both for individuals and employers. Various research shows that remote workers can be happier, have more time, improved wellbeing and be more productive,
But without the right management and set up, it can also create challenges. Remote workers can also feel isolated, burned out from a lack of work-life boundaries, and have communication breakdowns with colleagues, when physically separated.
Having worked remotely myself since 2017, I’ve become familar with the challenges that come from working home alone, across timezones or without office facilities. I’ve had to learn the self discipline of creating my own work routine, building wellbeing habits and staying motivated.
Applying this experience to my coaching, I help remote workers to:
Effectively lead and mange remote teams.
Develop routines for productivity, focus and motivation.
Set healthy work-life boundaries to support wellbeing, stress management and resilience.
Enhance communication skills in digital environments.
Build and make time for social connection, inside and outside of work.
Maintain team cohesiveness and culture.
Set and achieve professional goals in line with those of the company.
