creative projects
Outside of the corporate world (and often creating bridges to it), I work with creatives with big ideas to support in bringing them to life.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of creative industries, in countries and cultures around the world, from grass roots community projects to major brand partnerships and creative marketing campaigns.
In particular, my experiences include:
- Co-founder of Asa Baako, an award-winning music and arts festival in Ghana, launched in 2011; promoting sustainable tourism, community development and breakthrough artists, musicians and performers from Ghana and around the world.
- Working with independent artists to promote and showcase their work; including Jon Fidler and Modla, facilitating international partnerships and commissions with brands like Reebok, Converse, Nike and more; and street photographer, Gil Ribeiro, coordinating his inaugural exhibition in Lisbon,
- In addition to these independent projects, I’ve always worked between brands and creatives, in sponsorships, commissions, brand experiences at major music festivals and music/entertainment marketing campaigns for brands like Xbox, Ford and more.
As a coach, mentor and consultant, I draw upon these experiences to support creative entrepreneurs and businesses in:
- Coaching through the psychological ups and downs of the creative and entrepreneurial process
- Defining a personal or company brand
- Taking creative or business ideas from conceptualisation to realisation
- Brand partnerships, commissions, collaborations and sponsorship
- Project, event and change management
- Integrating sales into the creative process
