See talks & workshops testimonials here

The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week, set by the Mental Health Foundation, is “taking action” - encoruaging people to take the small steps to become more hopeful and less powerless, individually and collectively.

This interactive talk and workshop combines insights and practical tools for people to take away and apply to their daily lives. It covers:

  • An introduction to mental health – what mental health is and what it's not.

  • Recognising in yourself - becoming aware of your own mental health and when to be concerned.

  • Supporting yourself - how to build healthy habits to stay mentally fit and take action on the things you control to work through challenges.

  • Speaking up, finding support - how and when to share what you're going through. We can also include things specific to your organisation if you have them.

  • Supporting others - How to recognise if someone needs support and how to approach them.

The session can be held onlie or in person and lasts 45 minutes + Q&A, with exercises that people can complete during the session or after, as they please.
